MINUTES OF APRIL 2, 2013 MEETING

Meeting Call To Order: at 2:00pm
Motion to Accept Minutes: A motion to accept March Minutes was made by Mary Ann Lee, seconded by Pat Lancaster.
Old Business: Debbie confirmed that the Mayor will be attending “The Mayor’s Breakfast” being held on May 7, 2013 at 9:30am. Lillian will send out the invitations on April 3rd.
Debbie confirmed with the Mayor the date of September 17th for our senior picnic as well as the use of Pratt & Whitney facility on Clements Street. Debbie also confirmed “into the groove” (Dale) will receive the sum of $325 for his participation at our picnic. Marie confirmed that Walter Martin will be available to perform at our senior picnic. Mike Walsh will be contacted by the end of June to participate in our shopping for theme decorations for our picnic.
New Business:
Submitted was two requests from Kristine Beane; “Magic Wings Traveling Show” and “New Years Eve 2013 ½” dinner & dance. Mary Ann made a motion to accept the “New Years Eve 2013 ½” dinner & dance; which will be held at the north end senior center on Tuesday, July 30 at 5:00-8:00pm. Seconded by Pat Lancaster.
Pending:
The purchase of 25 new chairs for the south end senior center, as of this date there has been no response by parks and recreation for their assistance in obtaining the chairs.
“Magic Wings Traveling Show” is pending.
Adjournment: Motion to adjourn was made by Pat Lancaster and seconded by Mary Ann.

Next meeting: No regular meeting in May due to the Mayor’s Breakfast. Next meeting is Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 2:00pm
